Wies De Graeve (°1980) studied Classical Philology, Secondary teacher training and Literary Studies at the University of Ghent. In addition to his experience as a teacher in secondary schools and adult education, he was an intern at the European Commission and editor in the Belgian Federal Parliament.

In April 2006 he joined the Flemish Peace Institute as communications officer. He supports the director of the institute in the communication and coordination of the Scientific Secretariat. He is involved with the editing of publications, the organisation of events, operational arrangements, the follow-up of outsourced research projects and the information flow within the institute.
