Nils Duquet (°1980) studied sociology and political sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). He joined the Flemish Peace Institute in April 2006. At the Peace Institute he conducts academic and policy oriented research and prepares policy advices. He focuses, among other things, on the analysis of the production and trade in strategic goods, research on small arms, peace education and the follow up on outsourced research of the institute.
